Q: How long does my International Student Visa need to be for?

A: You should apply for an International Student Visa for 1 year.

Q: Can I return to my home country during the breaks?

A: Yes. Your 1-year International Student Visa will allow for Multiple Entries/Exits from Canada. If you desire to visit the United States of America you will have to obtain a Separate Visa.

Q: Will I be qualified to Work in the Film and Television Industry in Canada and abroad?

A: Yes. The Training you will receive will enable you to work as an Actor both in Canada and other countries.

Q: Will I be given a Diploma?

A: Yes. Upon completion of the Training and the Internship, the Graduate receives a Diploma, a Demo Reel, and Photo and Resume.

Q: What do I need in order to obtain a Visa to attend a Course?

A: You should apply to the Canadian Embassy or Consulate in your own country (with a Letter of Acceptance from RFFTA) or, if there is not one where you live, then you should apply via a Canadian Embassy or Consulate in a neighbouring country. You are normally required to attend one or possibly two interviews, during which time you will have to prove your Financial Independence.

Nationals from certain countries and stateless individuals, or individuals holding a non-national travel document or passport issued by an authority not recognized by Canada, must have a valid Canadian visa on each occasion they enter Canada.

Q: What Prior Experience do I need before taking the Course?

A: Our Course is designed to appeal to Students whose must be able to Read, Write and Understand the English Language. No prior experience in acting is required.

Q: How do I find Accommodation while I;m taking the Course?

A: RFFTA will provide a list of possible places within a short range of the Academy and along Public Transport Routes. You will make contact and secure what is convenient for your budget.
