Receive Letter of Acceptance with position held.

Obtain passport and necessary documents.

Obtain International Student Visa.

Send proof of documents and complete payment.

Do research on Toronto and prepare for life in Toronto.

Receive confirmation of completed registration and Student Number.

Arrange housing.

Arrival in Toronto at least 1 week before classes begin.

Settle in – orientation.

Begin classes.

Complete all RFFTA requirements.

Graduate.

Begin your career.

Each Applicant who is Applying for Admission to the Academy is required to furnish the Information necessary for the Academy Record. All Information is Confidential and will only be used for the purposes it has been Collected. All Correspondence in English.

Applicants must hold a Mature Student Status. Applicants must be at least 20 years of Age or over prior to the beginning of the Session applied for and must provide a Resume outlining Work Experience since leaving School.

All Requirements must be received by RFFTA before an Application is Processed. Each of the following must be submitted for Processing to Proceed:

1. A completed Application Form.

2. $500CAD. Application Fee (non-refundable).

3. Two Letters of Reference from Individuals who have known the Applicant for 2 or More years and are NOT related. (Please have them sent directly to RFFTA.)

4. Two Relatives, for Emergency, with Full Contact Details.

5. Name of Family Doctor, if any, to be Consulted in an Emergency Address. Phone Numbers.

6. Two Passport size Photos for Student I.D. Card. (upon Acceptance)

7. A Statement of Personal Interest explaining in detail, in your own words, your reasons for applying to RFFTA, any past Skills you feel are related, your Future Goals and Ambitions once you’ve completed the Program. (Your Letter of Interest should be on One Page and Typed on 8.5 x 11-inch White Paper.)

8. Once an Applicant has been Accepted into a Program 100% of the Total Fee is required to Guarantee a Seat in the Class. This is Due and Payable within 14 days of Notification of Acceptance.

Beyond the Classroom: In Addition to Scheduled Instruction, Students will have the Opportunity to be placed in a Six-Week Industry Internship.

Graduation: Upon Graduation from the Program each Student will have Developed a Package with which to Represent Themselves to Potential Employers. This Package includes:

Please note that International Students pay Fees in Canadian funds(CAD). All Fees from International Students must be paid a Minimum of 30 Days in Advance of the Start Date of the Class.

Note: All International Students applying for a Canadian Student Visa must supply proof of their Financial Support during the Term of studies. It must be Sufficient to Pay Tuition in Full Prior to the Beginning of the Program and enough to Live on for the Duration of the Program. RFFTA does not Supply Financial Aid. Tuition is due in Full at least 30 days Prior to the Program Start Date.

Note: All International Students are required to obtain International Health Coverage from their Country of Residence prior to arriving in Canada or Enroll in the Ontario Medical Insurance Program.

Admission Guidelines: All Applications are Processed on a First-Come, First-Served Basis and Applicants should Apply at least One Month prior to the Program start date.

The Maximum Number of Students who can be Accommodated for each Term is Limited. RFFTA reserves the Right to Refuse Admission to any Student.
